Abhijit is the CEO of UnitedLayer, a premier North American Hybrid Cloud company. He is also the Managing Partner of Accelon Capital, a mid-market private equity firm, where he led the acquisition of UnitedLayer. He has 18 years of experience in starting, growing, and leading technology businesses. Previously, Abhijit co-founded Scintera (acquired by NYSE: INPHI and NASDAQ: MXIM) and was its CEO. Scintera is the leading provider of high performance signal processing semiconductors for network and wireless applications. Prior to starting Scintera, Abhijit held management positions at National Semiconductor where he led the development and commercialization of three generations of Ethernet Networking products.
Abhijit has an MS in Management from Stanford Business School, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He has authored numerous publications and has over 50 US patents. He enjoys Abhijit Phanse wind surfing, hiking, and playing the guitar. He and his wife have two young boys
BV Jagadeesh is Managing Partner at KAAJ Ventures. He has successfully invested and guided companies such as Nutanix (IPO), Yodlee (IPO), Arkin (acqd: VMWare), Elastic Box (acqd: Century Link), Net Magic Solutions (acqd: NTT), Ocarina Networks (acqd: Dell) and Ankeena (acqd: Juniper) to name a few.
Before founding KAAJ, BV Jagadeesh served as a founding investor and CEO of NetScaler. NetScaler pioneered the concept of Application Delivery and was successfully sold to Citrix for $325M and served as Group VP and GM for Citrix’s Application Networking division. Prior to NetScaler, he co-founded and served as CTO of Exodus communications in 1993 that pioneered the concept of Internet data centers. He was instrumental in the successful IPO of Exodus in 1998.
Currently Jagadeesh is an active investor and serves on the board of several Silicon Valley StartUPs. He is also an adjunct faculty at the Leavey School of Business, SCU.
Mr. Peterson has more than thirty years’ experience starting, capitalizing, managing, and advising high-growth companies in a variety of industries, including high-tech, real estate, investment management, and tech-enabled services. Early in his career, he served as a partner in the world’s largest private real estate development and management company. Mr. Peterson has served as founder and/or partner in venture, private equity, search, and real estate investment funds which now manage more than $2.0 billion. He has been a principal in scores of transactions and financings worth $billions. He currently serves at both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including Fifth Partners. Mr. Peterson graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in economics from Brigham Young University, and received his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He is the father of five children and has two grandsons. He resides in Millcreek, Utah with his wife of nearly thirty-five years
